~~Trama~~

[spoiler=Trama]
Il film racconta la storia vera di Michael Oher, un diciassettenne senzatetto rimasto orfano di padre e con una madre dipendente dal crack. Nonostante i problemi economici e il basso quoziente intellettivo, il ragazzo riesce ad iscriversi a scuola, ma l'adattamento tra i compagni risulterà molto difficile, a causa dalla sua timidezza e della sua notevole stazza. Un giorno il ragazzo viene notato dalla benestante famiglia Tuohy, che si prende a cuore la sua vicenda, decidendo di adottarlo e aiutandolo negli studi e a coltivare il suo potenziale nello sport. Grazie alla sua nuova famiglia e ai suoi nuovi amici, Michael riuscirà a realizzare i suoi sogni di diventare un giocatore professionista di football americano.
